- Led mobile development for 2.5 years — reviewing designs for feasibility, breaking features into estimated tasks, assigning work, and running code review for a team of 2 permanent and up to 3 rotating developers — while owning the Android and iOS release builds and onboarding 4 engineers onto the stack, including the second permanent developer, who now ships and handles iOS releases independently.
- Sole developer of a QA inspection platform for a furniture manufacturer — both halves in 8 months. Designed a 16-model inspection domain (purchase order → line item → report → per-unit inspection) and exposed it as a 27-endpoint REST API in Laravel 12 / MySQL, documented in OpenAPI with token auth and role-scoped authorisation; built the Angular/Ionic Android app inspectors use on the factory floor, covering a four-stage workflow through to on-device signature capture.
- Containerised that stack for production — multi-stage PHP 8.4-FPM image, nginx, MySQL and a Redis-backed queue worker — deployed on merge to production through a GitLab CI/CD pipeline built with the DevOps team.
- Owned the response to a client-mandated MobSF security audit of a production Android release delivered to an overseas (Malaysian) client — triaged every finding as remediated, false positive, or accepted risk with written technical justification, and authored the remediation and acceptance reports. Hardened the release accordingly: R8 obfuscation with custom keep rules, a TLS-only network security configuration, auth tokens moved to platform-encrypted storage, and a reissued signing keystore.
- Assigned to a four-brand retail loyalty and commerce app and responsible for it for three years — 225 commits, roughly 83% of all work on the app in that window, live on Google Play today. Built the entire app-side flow for migrating the member base onto a third-party account platform, covering every state a real customer could be in: matching an existing external account, self-registration for those without one, a documented decline path, and password recovery for users who had not yet migrated — then modernised the inherited codebase across two major Capacitor upgrades and added biometric login and geolocation-based store discovery.
- Principal developer of Topdepo, a B2B/B2C commerce app for a building-materials distributor — 23 months on a 59-screen, ~64,000-line Angular/Ionic/Capacitor codebase — owning the ordering and fulfilment flow: cart, multi-warehouse stock and branch selection, Midtrans and manual bank transfer with proof-of-payment upload and unique-code reconciliation, through to invoicing and Indonesian faktur pajak (VAT tax-invoice) issuance; later extended it to a second form factor, reworking 20+ screens from phone-only to responsive desktop web and hardening the browser-facing URL surface by aliasing routes and removing record IDs from links.

International Symposium on Functional Materials Conference
Full-stack DeveloperFreelance
The International Symposium on Functional Materials (ISFM) is a biennial conference that provides a dynamic platform for sharing the latest innovations, breakthroughs, and emerging trends in multidisciplinary research on functional materials.
- Next.js
- Prisma
- PostgreSQL
- TypeScript
- Vercel
- Midtrans
- Sole developer of the registration and abstract-management platform for an international academic conference — Next.js 15, TypeScript, Prisma and PostgreSQL, deployed on Vercel. 191 registered participants across 12 different countries.
- Owned the full payment layer: Midtrans gateway alongside manual bank transfer with admin verification, covering failed transactions, retries, payment-method changes, and category-based fee validation — with live USD→IDR conversion for international payments.
- Modelled a 13-entity domain including a multi-round peer-review workflow (submission → revision batches → reviewer scoring → editorial decision) with five-role authorisation.

- Midtrans
- Sole developer of a laboratory-services platform for materials characterization — Next.js App Router, TypeScript, Prisma and MongoDB on Vercel — modelling a 33-entity domain, in production.
- Modelled two distinct order lifecycles in one system: a physical laboratory workflow (sample intake → queue → analysis → results delivery, with invalid-sample and results-revision branches) and a 14-state commerce flow covering payment, shipping, complaints, returns and refunds.
- Prevented overselling with time-limited stock reservations instead of decrementing inventory at checkout, so abandoned payments release stock automatically on expiry; guarded checkout integrity by re-deriving all prices server-side and gating voucher redemption behind a conditional atomic increment.

Full-stack DeveloperFreelance

- Cloudinary
- Sole developer of the public research platform for ITB's Advanced Functional Materials Laboratory — ~26,000 lines of TypeScript on Next.js App Router with Prisma and MongoDB — including a bilingual (EN/ID) custom CMS for publications, research topics, equipment, people and news.
- Designed a typed server-action layer — Zod validation at the boundary, a discriminated fieldErrors | error | data result, and a paired React hook — and applied it across 57 actions in 12 domains with no exceptions: every mutation schema-validated and session-guarded, with field-error keys type-derived from the input so a renamed form field fails at compile time.
- Profiled the live site with Lighthouse, identified oversized hero imagery as the dominant LCP cost (~1.1 MB of avoidable transfer), and rebuilt the image pipeline around Cloudinary with generated blur placeholders and orphaned-asset cleanup — taking Largest Contentful Paint from 3.5 s to 1.2 s (performance score 71 → 95) under identical audit conditions.
